Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will oversee the daily management of the bar, ensuring outstanding beverage quality, efficient operations, inventory control, and excellent customer service while leading and motivating the bar team.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive beverage knowledge, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Lead, train, motivate, and supervise bartenders and bar staff.
Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain beverage menus, including cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency according to company standards.
Manage inventory, stock ordering, receiving, and storage of beverages and bar supplies.
Control beverage costs, minimize waste, and monitor stock variances.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and licensing regulations.
Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs effectively.
Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
Work closely with the Food & Beverage and kitchen teams to coordinate service and special events.
Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Ensure all bar equipment is properly maintained and operational.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the bar.

Full Requirements

Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bar operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Previous experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, or resort is highly desirable.
