Supervises daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operation and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures. Manages day-to-day operations, monitors quality, and standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed
Lead Daily Food & Beverage Operations
Oversee the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, food safety, and operating procedures.
Manage staffing levels to deliver excellent guest service while meeting financial goals.
Coordinate ordering of food, beverages, supplies, cleaning materials, and staff uniforms.
Monitor equipment performance and arrange repairs or maintenance when needed.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence across all dining areas.
Support departmental budgeting, cost control, payroll monitoring, and purchasing activities.
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
Create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
Respond quickly and professionally to guest feedback and service recovery situations.
Review guest satisfaction surveys and implement improvements where needed.
Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding hospitality and service standards.
Remain visible and approachable for both guests and team members throughout each shift.
Lead, Coach & Develop Your Team
Recruit, interview, train, and mentor supervisors and hourly team members.
Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
Coach employees to improve service quality, teamwork, and professional development.
Foster a positive workplace culture built on respect, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Promote employee engagement and support initiatives that improve staff retention.
Financial & Operational Performance
Monitor departmental budgets, labor costs, payroll, and operating expenses.
Analyze reports and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage beverage purchasing, inventory control, and cost management.
Ensure all legal, safety, and company standards are consistently met.
Communication & Leadership
Work closely with department heads and hotel leadership to achieve operational goals.
Communicate priorities clearly and provide regular feedback to team members.
Support supervisors in addressing employee concerns and maintaining a motivated workforce.
Step into operational roles when required to ensure smooth service delivery.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a hospitality leader who has:
Proven experience managing Food & Beverage operations in a hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Excellent communication and guest service abilities.
Experience managing budgets, labor costs, payroll, and inventory.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
The ability to perform well in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
A passion for delivering outstanding hospitality and developing high-performing teams.
High school diploma or GED; 5 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
OR
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
