Position Details

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Salary: $38.00 per hour
• Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Work Location: On-site

Plan and prepare complete meals and specialty dishes. Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities. Develop menus and create new recipes while maintaining quality and consistency. Prepare stocks, soups, sauces, and specialty menu items. Ensure food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor inventory levels and order food and kitchen supplies. Maintain quality control and minimize food waste. Train and mentor kitchen staff. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

Cuisine Specialties South Indian East Indian Canadian Italian Cuisine Vegetarian Food Specialties Eggs and Dairy Fish and Seafood Stocks, Soups and Sauces Qualifications Completion of secondary school is required. Several years of experience as a Chef or in a similar leadership kitchen role. Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Asset Languages The following language skills are considered an asset: Hindi Marathi
