- Plus company housing with rent and common fees fully covered (worth around ¥50,000/month), so the real value of your package comes to around ¥270,000/month.
Key Responsibilities
Guiding and briefing international guests in English at our tour reception — sharing the Okunoin Night Tour®, the history and meaning of Koyasan and Shingon Buddhism, and answering their questions
・Introducing Wakayama\'s local food and drink culture to overseas guests — explaining the story, origin and character of each regional specialty as you serve it, so guests understand what they\'re tasting, not just receive it
・Working as the bridge between international guests and our Japanese tour guides and team (relaying needs, coordinating schedules, resolving questions)
・Presenting our original products, crafts and vintage items to a global audience in the shop
As part of a small team, everyone also shares in the hands-on running of the shop — preparing and serving the drinks and simple dishes you\'ll be introducing (including cocktails and grilled rice balls), washing up, keeping the space clean, light PC work for reservations, point-of-sale, and opening and closing preparation. This is a small team, so these supporting tasks come with the territory, alongside a role centered on international guest communication.
